Greek Orthodox Church in the Trinity

STEUBENVILLE — The Philoptochos Society of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church will hold a monthly gyroscope sales event at the church at 300 S. Four St. from 10 am to 1 pm on Tuesday.

The gyroscope is $8 each. Additional tzatziki sauce will be charged 25 cents.

Kouroulakia (cookies) is $7 per dozen.

Free shipping is available for orders of four or more gyroscopes. Orders will be accepted by phone (740) 282-9835 or fax (740) 282-2091 on the day of sale.

At least 20 minutes are required to process the phone or fax order.

Wintersville-Upper Ohio River Valley Photography Club announced the winners of the November contest themed "Garden Bounty/Harvest".

The subject category winners are: first place, Sam Rees; second place (tie), Dave Rees and Karen Felix; third place, Diane Bannister. The winners of the open group are: first place, Barb Momyer; second place, Michelle Stevens; third place, Dave Reese. The winners of the special effects category are: first place, Karen Felix; second place, Diane Bannister; third place, Barb Momyer.

The Upper Ohio River Valley Photography Club welcomes anyone interested in photography. The next meeting will be held at Colonial Baptist Church at 201 Gumps Lane in Wintersville at 6:30 pm on Tuesday. There will be a seminar on how to use dry ice and incense.

Snowman Story Time, the handicraft part of library products

STEUBENVILLE — Steubeville and Jefferson County Public Libraries have announced plans to carry out the following programs and activities in their various locations, including:

Kids: Enjoy the snowman story time at 5:30 pm on December 14 and call to register.

Stop at any time on December 16 to make crafts to take home.

Adults: Making a mesh Christmas tree at 5 pm on December 13 requires calling the library to register. The materials needed are six wire hangers, three to four decorative nets (no more than 6×10 yards or buy tulle of 12 to 14 yards. A pipe cleaner that matches the net/tress is required. Decorations and 100 lights String is optional.

Adults: The book club will have a meeting at 10 am on December 14th. Please call to join.

Kids: Draw a Christmas tree with a fork at 5:30 pm on December 16, please call to register.

Kids: Pick up a Christmas craft that you can take away anytime on December 13th.

STEUBENVILLE — The Rotary Club of Steubenville is selling my coupon book again. The annual publication price is $40, including discounts and discounts for businesses and restaurants around the tri-state area, and is valid until October 31.
